合肥师范学院位于全国四大科教城市之一—安徽省会合肥市，创建于1955年，是全国首批“服务国家特殊需求专业学位研究生”培养试点单位、全国首批“卓越教师培养计划”试点单位，安徽省首批“地方应用型高水平大学”建设高校，安徽省“三全育人”综合改革试点高校。
学校现有3个校区，占地1295亩；设有14个二级学院；本科专业59个，教育硕士专业学位研究生培养方向11个，全日制在校本科、研究生、国际生近1.7万人；国家和省级一流专业23个、国家一流课程3门、省级一流课程194门、虚拟仿真实验教学实验项目7项；国家和省级卓越人才培养计划项目29个、省级人才培养创新实验区2个、省级专业综合改革试点项目10个、省级示范实验（习）实训中心9个、省级校企合作实践教育基地33个、省级一流本科人才示范引领基地4个。

PROFILE OF HEFEI NORMAL UNIVERSITY (HFNU)
Hefei Normal University (HFNU) is located in Hefei, the capital city of Anhui province, one of the four major science and education cities in China. Founded in 1955, HFNU is one of the first national pilot units for "master degree education serving national specific demands" and "Excellent Teacher Training Program". It is also one of the first universities in Anhui province of "establishing local application-oriented high-level universities", establishing provincial green campuses, and national role model in ethical and cultural progress. HFNU is also ranked as one of the pilot universities in the comprehensive reform of Three All-Round Education in Anhui Province, China.
HFNU has 3 campuses with a total area of about 86.33 hectares. There are 14 faculties and 59 undergraduate majors, 11 Master of Education programs and nearly 17,000 full-time undergraduate, postgraduate and international students. Currently, HFNU has 23 national and provincial top-ranking majors, 3 national top-ranking curricula, 194 provincial top-ranking curricula, 7 programs of virtual simulation experiment instruction, 29 national and provincial programs of excellent teacher training, 2 experimental areas for talent training and innovation, 10 pilot programs for provincial comprehensive reform, 9 provincial training centers, 33 provincial practicum bases in university and enterprise cooperation, and 4 provincial top-notch undergraduate talent demonstration centers.
HFNU has established exchanges and cooperation with more than 10 universities in Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Spain, and Taiwan Province of China. It has now enrolled international undergraduate, graduate and Chinese language study students. HFNU has accumulated rich experience in school management, and has been acknowledged as a comprehensive university with distinctive characteristics, advanced facilities and beautiful campuses. HFNU is going to enroll international candidates into full-time degree programs (Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree) and Chinese language study program.
